没後４０年のちいろば牧師が最後に残した言葉。未発表原稿の単行本化。今だからこそ聴きたいメッセージがここにある―終戦後の混乱の中で開拓伝道を始め、日本が高度経済成長を突き進む中、自らを「ちいろば」と称し、イエス様を背中に乗せ歩みたいと願い生き抜いた牧師がどうしても伝えたかったこと。ただ愚直に、神の語りかけを聴き、祈りの中で従い続けることを説いている。
