The author deals with the aftermath of the death of her daughter at age 21 from Scirrhous stomach cancer. In John 20:1 the grieving women left for Jesus’ tomb “while it was still dark,” but encountered the risen Jesus. Even in the darkness of her grief, as the author walks with God she experiences abundant life and has hope for the future in the resurrection of Jesus.
