Called “the best summary of the Bible in story form anywhere available,” it was first published in 1935 in the USA and 1979 in Japan. The author was the wife of theologian Dr. Geerhardus Vos from Calvin College and Princeton and she appeals to the interest and imagination of children without sacrificing fidelity to the text of Scripture. She uses the stories to impress great doctrinal truths, combining enjoyment with instruction, from Creation to Revelation and everything in between. All point toward Christ. This newly edited 3-volume edition is easy to read, contains 15 new illustrations and is told in stories children will understand.
