How do we help children who have been hurt by bullying, abuse or extreme corporal punishment in the schools and home? The author, a lawyer, has opened a shelter for abused children, especially adolescents. It is named the Carillon Center and teaches the young people they are special because they were created by God. Courts place them there where they are taught skills for studying and for jobs.
